After 2 long days at parent-teacher conferences, I had a day off today. So I did the following: slept in, went to Target to help K get a present for her friend's bday party, ran 3 miles at the KWU rec., watched a couple soaps and ran to the mall to get D a v-day present. I had a real great idea, but didn't get it purchased from the internet so I had to go to plan B.
I was nice to have a day off. I had nothing pressing to do so I just took it easy!!

Hey, we had conferences and yesterday off too! So my rundown was sleeping in a little(rain woke me), doing my taxes (refund!), reading the email about a better deal on the cruise, swimming, getting gas, going to the bank, doing 7 loads of laundry(let that go longer than I ever do) watching some Netflix and DVR shows and going with a couple friends to the Uptown in KC where we saw Joel McHale from E!'s The Soup. Hilarious guy! And we have Monday off too!
