spring can spring anytime

I'm really ready for some nice weather. JD had practice on Saturday and it was really cold!! I decided to go run at the park just to warm up. I like running at the park because it's softer than the street.

Kevin commented about the New Balance commercials so I thought I'd check them out on Youtube. Here one & another. Both are really good.

This week is busy and I have another test on Thursday. Hopefully this one doesn't take 2 hours and 40 minutes.

five days...

It's been awhile between posts, not sure anyone has noticed. My week's been busy. In my finance class, I took a test on Tuesday that took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to take. I did get a B on it. It's so darn hard. I have been on to update my running. Wednesday I did 3 miles. I was happy with that.

My students are planning a watch party for the premiere for the new MTV show "The Paper." It's a reality show about a high school newspaper. Check out the trailer. They are so very jacked. I'm sure it doesn't come close to "Two A Days" but I'm sure it's full of drama!

Jerry Moran was at our school today. Here's the multimedia my students put together.

Tomorrow Kaylee has a basketball game and JD is going to have a baseball scrimmage so I'm off to bed. I'm going to sleep in so don't call me early!!!

back to school

it's back to work for us teachers and college students. We had a fun break and great Easter. The weather was pretty nice yesterday--nice enough for some exploring at gma's. Check out Andrew blog to see some of his pics. Like he said, it's great to have such a wonderful fam. We are some blessed.

School was okay. There are some hitches in the new computers but we'll work through them. The kids are pumped. They are pretty darn sweet.

It's windy here today. Kaylee did get to go out and fly her kite. JD had baseball practice and scouts.

GO CATS!!

Just got done watching the game! Wow!! We were at the Seder Meal at church so Dee paused the TV at home (we have dish network). When we got home after 8 we unpaused it and watched the game in it's entirety (except we forwarded thru the commercials and timeouts.)

Dee has the day off tomorrow so we'll head over to Ellsworth to see Jason and the kids. (Bring your running shoes!!) Can't wait to see Linda's and Andrew's pics from their spring breaks. Linda sounded pretty happy with her week!!

super wednesday

I spent most of the day at school....that's not always a good thing to do when you're on break, but I got a lab full of new macs. It was worth it.

Cousin Kevin picked up the kids so that they could go play with Braden and Taylor. They are staying all night at Linda's so pray for Kevin. I know they are all having a great time!!

Dee ran/walked with me again. You think he's hooked?

spring break tuesday

Today the kids and I took a trip to the Smoky Hill Museum. We had a good time.

Dee decided that he would join the running game. Together we walked/ran 2 miles. He was a trooper. I finished with a mile at a jog. Maybe we can talk Dee into running the Shamrock Shuffle next year!!

Green, green, green

Happy St. Patty's Day!! Can you believe this weather; spring break always brings about the best weather. I'm hoping Kevin found something to do since the parade was pretty wet. The kids and I are making green eggs and ham and green biscuits for supper. It's not the traditional Irish supper but it's green. That's what Dee gets for marrying a German.

I'm hoping that the weather straightens up soon so the kids and I can spend some time outside!!
